How to Remove Glue: Slowly pull the ribbon away, then dab the affected area with oil-soaked cotton balls (vegetable, olive, baby oil) until the glue is dissolved. This may take a few minutes. Then rub with a soft, dry cloth. Finally, wash with soap and water.

Ribbon Lifespan and Replacement: Each ribbon will last around 3 months. If they are hanging in a very dusty area, they may not last as long, as dust landing on the glue will eventually prevent them from working. Replace each trap after 3 months or once it is full of flies.
